| 13th Colony Miniature Horses... is a family run miniature horse farm owned by Bob and Dawn Swanson. With the help of daughters Sally and Olivia, the stallions, mares and foals are handled daily. 13th Colony Miniature Horse Farm and Vineyard are located just four miles from Callaway Gardens, near Pine Mountain, Georgia. The farm is about an hour drive from the Atlanta airport. Bob and Dawn grew up around horses. Bob was active in 4-H and FFA as a youngster. He worked for the American Paint Horse Association APHA in Texas, judged full size horses and studied miniature horses for years prior to getting started with them. 13th Colony Miniature Horse Farm breeds overo minis with an eye to the future, matching the right stallions and mares to make each generation better than the last. At 13th Colony Miniature Horses, quality comes first, color is the bonus. But, oh what a bonus! |
